(i) History
The Official Name of the School is: HOPE PREPARATORY SCHOOL, KISII. This name was suggested by the school Management, meaning to bring hope for the less or no fortunate. It is a preparatory school, which means that it lays the foundation right away from the Baby Care (Play Group).
Hope Preparatory School, Kisii; was established in 2025 as a Private School which plays a significant role in providing early childhood development education in accordance to the Kenyan current Competency-Based Education (C.B.E.) curriculum that offers a strong foundation for young children's future academic success.
(ii) Age Range
We provide education and care to young children from age 3 to 6 years old in E.C.D.E. sector, preparing them for primary school.
(iii) Gender for Enrolment
We enrol both genders: boys and girls. We also offer special attention and try to direct the unspecified genders and people with disabilities (P.W.D.) in case of any; to where they can find help.
(iv) Site Bindings
We are located at Matagaro-Metembe-Kerongorori Routes (Samba Local Market); Kerongorori Sub-Location, Kenyenya Sub-County, Kisii County, Kenya.
(v) Land Area
Currently, we are seated on a quarter acre of land, but we are planning to expand our territories as time and population goes by.
(vi) Catchment Buffer Zone
We are located in the Centre triangular zone of the three schools: Metembe Comprehensive, Kerogorori Comprehensive and Kebabe Comprehensive Schools in Kenyenya Sub-County, Kisii. Our native catchment language is Ekegusii. But, our national language is Kiswahili and the official language that we use to teach and handle our learners with is English.
